13 lis 2021 · I'm able to "Pair Controller" and setup the Vive Tracker so I get a "Successful connection" screen, the light on the tracker and base station are green, but I am not able to see it pop up in the SteamVR menu so that it's a readable device on my computer.
Vive Trackers (2.0) are connecting to my computer, but not showing up on SteamVR display. I’ve tried unpairing and repairing, but no luck. Restarted SteamVR and my PC and no dice.
Tracker not detected on SteamVR. Hello my Vive 3.0 trackers just arrived and i tried to pair 1 of them to my PC, it goes Green on the tracker so it's been connected to my dongle but SteamVR doesn't show anything connected, is it because i don't have a base station yet? (they are coming soon)
Selecting Devices>Pair Controller in SteamVR settings. Tracker light goes green, its paired and recognized. Turn off the tracker, unplug its dongle, close SteamVR. Repeat the process for the other two trackers. After this, I was able to plug in all the dongles, turn on both controllers and all trackers with no problem. Reply. been_there_too. •.
If VIVE Tracker (3.0) cannot be detected by SteamVR, try the following: Make sure that at least one base station can see VIVE Tracker (3.0). Turn VIVE Tracker (3.0) off and on again to reactivate tracking. Restart the SteamVR app. If you still get an error, restart your computer and reopen the SteamVR app.

If you close SteamVR and the HMD display shows your desktop, this means that Direct Mode is not enabled. When Direct Mode is running properly, you will only see VR content in the HMD. If you have trouble enabling Direct Mode, make sure that you've installed the most recent drivers for your GPU.
