8 gru 2023 · Still facing this issue, Error 200 visible on my Quest and Error 499 on the SteamVR Client. Tried adding those .exes to "high performance", didn't help much. HP Spectre laptop with MX150 GPU and i7-8550U CPU.
I searched and tried everything - updated drivers, plugged in via USB, reinstalled steam VR, reinstalled games, changed between Oculus and SteamVR as default OpenXR runtime, manually added steam games to oculus library and launched from there, etc. Nothing worked.
Solution for those still looking: Set Steam VR as OpenXR run time. Steam VR > Settings > Enable Advanced > Developer > Set SteamVR as OpenXR Runtime. I couldn't find in the steam app in the headset, turns out, it's in the little Steam VR box that appears on the actual PC monitor.
Updated: To update the Meta Quest PC app on your computer: Open the Meta Quest PC app on your computer. Select Library in the left menu, then click Updates to check for updates.
Type "vrmonitor://safemode/enable" into the Run window. You can exit safe mode at any time from the dialog above the SteamVR status window. If safe mode has not resolved your issue, click "Contact Steam Support" below to get help.
21 paź 2020 · I cant connect to steamvr with a link or wireless. It just says failed (301). I tried reinstalling steam/vr, oculus repair and all that. I dont think its on steams end because my WMR picks ups and plays.
2 gru 2021 · For some reason when the PC app installs updates the installer (OVRLibrarian) exits abruptly and the Oculus app restarts without having installed the update. Been happening to me for over a year.
