27 paź 2021 · Check that your Oculus app is updated and that it allows you to play PC VR games on your headset. Allow access of all files to be shared between the Oculus device and PC. Disable any Antivirus or Firewall software that could be preventing the SteamVR games or software from running.
23 lut 2024 · After some Troubleshooting, I finally found the problem. Something with the recent update must've screwed something up with the OPENXR runtime settings for the game. Steam VR Fix: Open Steam VR ---> Settings --> OpenXR ---> SET STEAMVR AS OPENXR RUNTIME.
30 mar 2021 · Connect Link cable to Quest 2 headset. Enable Link when prompted on the headset. Run SteamVR from the Library menu on the head-set. The result is that Steam VR loads on the PC and starts running but reports that it cannot detect the headset or controllers.
16 paź 2023 · Attempting to open SteamVR Home from Steam returns "unknown error" - attempting from headset shows "Loading..." and then it just closes down. All games simply open in Virtual Desktop. Putting SteamVR in beta mode and enabling unknown sources in Oculus makes no difference. I bought this for PCVR and I can't play anything in actual VR except AC.
On the PC Oculus app go to Library. Click the plus sign and refresh list. If it does not pick it up on its own, you can click add it here and navigate to the SteamVR executable and add it.
