18 cze 2014 · There is no offline installer, however you could copy over the Steam files from another PC, install the Steam Service onto your PC, wipe any user data and that would work.
I'm purchasing a new PC and would like to have everything ready for immediate install without having to wait for lengthy downloads. Of the 40+ software packages that I will be installing, Steam is the only one to fail to provide an offline downloader for its client.

Offline Mode allows you to play games through Steam without reconnecting to the Steam Network every time you wish to play - this is particularly useful if you do not plan on playing over the internet and would prefer not to download new updates for your single-player games.
