24 cze 2022 · So far so good - when I tried to run it it complained that steam_api64.dll was missing - which is in my SkyrimVR folder. So - do I copy the steam_api64.dll to the new Skyrim Special Edition folder OR do I move all of the contents of the Skyrim Special Edition Folder to my SkyrimVR directory?
13 lis 2018 · I can't launch the creation kit for skyrim or fallout 4. I keep getting an error message saying I'm missing steam_api64.dll or missing GFSDK_SSAOD3D11.win64.dll. I've gone through every discussion forum post and every Youtube video on the subejct I could find.
1 gru 2016 · When maually launched, it just gives the error. I continue to get steam_api.dll is missing. I have never used this kit before and now it wont even let me delete it as its not in my library. Any one out there know of a solution? It's located under Library > Tools > Skyrim Creation Kit.
Download the DLLs either 32-bit or the 64-bit depending on your Operating System. (if one doesn't work, try the other.) Find your game's openvr_api.dll file, and replace it (though I highly recommend keeping a copy of the old file if you want to switch back) with one of the DLLs available.
13 maj 2018 · Skyrim.exe and adding an INI, as several obsolete guides tell you to do to get skse launching from Steam, WILL NOT WORK. SSE Engine Fixes needs the original skse64_loader.exe and SkyrimSE.exe file names and files. If you want to launch from Steam, add skse64_loader.exe as a Non-Steam Game.
Go to your game folder in steam (Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim special edition) and then in the CommonRedist\vcredist\2015 folder run the vc_redist.x64.exe file (if your on a 64bit Windows otherwise run the vc_redist.x86.exe).
14 mar 2022 · But when I try to open a newly downloaded Creation Kit through Bethesda.net and now it says it could not find steam_api 64.dll. I've opened it before to dick around with it before the downgrade and encountered no issue.
