STAT 100 Statistics credit: 3 Hours. First course in probability and statistics at a precalculus level; emphasizes basic concepts, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, estimation, and hypothesis testing in both nonparametric and normal models.
You can still get 100% in this class without doing any bonus work. Bonus points are figured into your grade as follows: Suppose at the end of the semester you have a 75% average and you did 100% of the bonus work. So your grade would be raised from a 75% (C) to an 80% (B-). Course Outline

This class starts with a quick review of Stat 100 material and then moves on to talk about things like hypothesis testing, power, multiple regression, ANOVA, etc. Like Stat 100, it uses a partially completed notebook that you fill in during class.
STAT 100 Spring 2023 Exam Schedule Important Info: All Stat 100 Exams for all sections (both in person and online sections) will be in person unless the university changes to online. Plan on coming in person! There will be three midterm exams and a comprehensive final exam.
