I fixed this issue by installing the games using a usb HDD or a usb stick, if you try it with remote package installer it wont work. Also, format the USB or the HDD in ExFat, copy the pkg to it and then connect it to the ps4 and it should be working just fine.
I'd gotten Jedi Fallen Order, saw there's a free PS5 upgrade, installed it, and now it keeps bringing up the PS4 version to install whenever I turn on my PS5 and that disc is inserted. Why in the heck is this still an issue?
Retail PKGs can be game demos, full games and updates (from orbispatches), as long as you have the disc and/or license. The way it works is by utilizing IDU mode that is basically built-in every PS4's firmware. IDU (Individual Display Unit) is a mode used by Kiosk/Demo units found on game/electronic stores.
Install a PS4 digital game on a PS5 console. Select game library from your Games home. Select the game you want to play. If you haven't already downloaded the game, select Download. The game will install automatically. Depending on the game, you may have the option to copy and play a portion of the game right away.

14 lis 2020 · When I turn the PS5 on and put the disc back in, it doesn't automatically install the PS4 version unless I hit copy, so that's good but it would be nice if they can stop it auto installing when leaving the disc in during rest mode.
