The purpose of this article is to tell you something about the modern Cell Church movement, and to help you see how the principles of Cell Church could help your church to grow and prosper too.
1. Pray throughout. From when you decide to host a group till when it begins officially, pray throughout. Leading a cell group is a spiritual exercise which calls for spiritual effort and measures. Prayer is the master key which solidifies what you are starting. Bible says the strong man needs to be bound first.
The cell church strategy is not a quick growth strategy, but rather, a biblical one. Cell groups provide the environment to form disciples. In certain receptive areas around the world, multiplication happens rapidly because people are coming to Christ, being trained, and starting new cells.

Here are some of the latest definitions of cell groups: A group of people taking pre-marital counseling. A six-week course meeting inside the church. Kids in a bus on the way to church. G-12 groups. Choirs. Usher. Some of these “cell groups” meet in the church, others meet outside the church.

Jesus never told the church to go and start cells. Rather, he told them to make disciples in all nations. Some people think I’m too fanatical about cells.
