An Oak Tree is a common Tree that grows from an Acorn. It yields Oak Resin every 7 days when tapped (3 days with a Heavy Tapper). It can be chopped down with an axe, producing Wood, Sap, possible Acorns, and possible Hardwood (if the player is a Lumberjack).
20 lis 2021 · You're looking to get Foraging to Level 4 by Spring 15, so that you can gain extra Salmonberries from bushes during the event. If you only count the XP from trees, it would take 109 trees cut down to get to Level 4, which is nearly 8 trees per day!
There are quite a few maple and oak trees on the map south from your farm. It's worth it to put tappers on all of them if you're building kegs and bee houses. You are going to be in need of MANY oak resin and maple syrup.

20 sie 2019 · Keep tapping lots of Oak Trees and planting groves around the valley (anywhere you can till; even the Beach works) so you develop plenty of Oak Resin and can eventually move your Tappers off your farm.
9 sty 2024 · Avoid felling Oak trees (the ones with a tight canopy and reflective mop top vs open canopy and visible branches) until you start getting seeds. Collect seeds, especially Acorns (Oak), for planting around the farm and the valley for Tapping.
At level 3 foraging, make tappers and get your oak trees tapped. You can also clear out a designated area for oak trees if you want and plant your acorns there, or you can wait until you have the quarry for that (tree fertilizer is available at level 7, that will probably have to wait until summer.)
