BRC GS Food (BRC Global Standards) is a global food safety standard, first issued in 1998, developed by the British Retail Consortium. It is recognised by retailers, foodservice companies and food manufacturers from around the world. The current version of the BRCGS Food - 8 is in force from 2018.
