21 lut 2014 · I would like to know whether it is possible, through optimizer hints or otherwise, to make the SQL (or PL/SQL) code start reading the table from the end of the file, and have it stop the query as soon as (f.e.) 1000 rows are selected?

13 paź 2003 · In SQL server you can use the while statement, but it is definitely not recommended. Processing one record at a time will slow your system considerably. YOu should try to use a set based statemetn instead.
2 dni temu · To define a statement block (batch), use the control-of-flow language keywords BEGIN and END. Although all Transact-SQL statements are valid within a BEGIN...END block, certain Transact-SQL statements should not be grouped together within the same batch (statement block).
14 kwi 2004 · How do I tell bulk insert to import rows UP to the effective end of the file, i.e. last row/last column entry. Right now I'm testing with lastrow=400, but this of course only works for a file with the lastrow at 400. If the lastrow is 398, I get the unexpected end of file (EOF) error. thx!

I should be able to change the size like this: SQL> alter system set db_recovery_file_dest_size=20G scope=both; But since I get the error described above (end-of-file...)
