21 mar 2013 · lhd.CreatedDate is a DateTime field and is non-nullable. I want to display an empty string if the field is the minimum date (1/1/1900), but my CASE statement doesn't work; CreatedDate displays 1900-01-01 00:00:00.000 in my query when that value is in the database. I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2.
19 sty 2001 · Since, we cannot insert a blank value instead of 1900…, we will use a workaround so we can at least display a blank value instead of a value that shows the date from another era. We will write a simple query, which will convert 1900-01-01 into a meaningful value. ️ Date and Time examples
17 lis 2015 · You can't get an empty string because you're returning the DATE value type from ISNULL. Per the docs, ISNULL. Returns the same type as check_expression. If a literal NULL is provided as check_expression, returns the datatype of the replacement_value.
Here is an example that uses date functions. The following query selects all rows with a date_col value from within the last 30 days: . mysql> SELECT something FROM tbl_name-> WHERE DATE_SUB(CURDATE(),INTERVAL 30 DAY) <= date_col;. The query also selects rows with dates that lie in the future.

24 sty 2013 · A column can only return one data type - DATETIME != string/VARCHAR. If you want a zero length string in the event of the value being NULL, you have to explicitly change the data type, using CAST/CONVERT to change the non-NULL value to a VARCHAR/etc data type.
25 paź 2012 · A quick solution is a table function that will create a date range based on the parameters given. Then, you can just join to the results.
