Reading a Honda battery date code is simple; all you need to do is locate and read its four-digit number. The first two digits indicate when it was manufactured (year) while last two digits indicate what month it was made in (month). For example, if you see a number like “0818” then your car’s battery was manufactured in August of 2018.
