There is a new website for collect together track plans and layouts in all scales and sizes, build with SCARM planning software. Here is the link: Free Model Train Layouts & Track Plans. Most of the content in the site is created by SCARM users and sent to me by e-mail.
You can browse the projects in the site or search and filter the track plans by several criteria, such as “scale”, “size”, “trackage” and so on. In example, the following link will show you all railway layouts and plans in HO scale, listed in the site.
I can certainly recommend SCARM. It has all the M, K, and C track libraries and it is easy to design a layout combining all 3 track types if you need to. The 3 D rendering is also a nice feature. Best of all it is free!
