11 sty 2011 · A fully loaded G19 weighs a little over 30 oz, a fully loaded xdm compact weights a little over 32.5 oz, for that 2.5 oz the G19 gives you three more rounds, the xdm gives you a better made gun, with a barrel that can shoot lead bullets and a grip safety that makes Glock Leg virtually impossible. I'd go with the XDM.

8 lip 2013 · One of the drawbacks to this gun is weight. The XD (m) is easily the heaviest of the compact polymer guns at an advertised 28 oz. Compare that to the M&P 9mm compact (21.7 oz.) or the svelte Glock 19 (20 oz.). I’ll spot Springfield a little bit since they give the weight of their gun with an empty magazine, but suffice to say, the gun is heavy.
