11 sty 2011 · A fully loaded G19 weighs a little over 30 oz, a fully loaded xdm compact weights a little over 32.5 oz, for that 2.5 oz the G19 gives you three more rounds, the xdm gives you a better made gun, with a barrel that can shoot lead bullets and a grip safety that makes Glock Leg virtually impossible. 7 mar 2012 · Same happened to me on Tuesday. My Glock friend has the 19 and I have the 5.25 9mm. He had never fired mine in the few months I've owned it. After shooting the 5.25 he came back saying it was smooth like butter. I know mine is more comp. oriented but I personally don't notice all that much difference between the two.

And I CC my XDM 4.5 just fine as well as my Service 4" model. The Glock 19 is going to be closer in size to the Service model. You are a big dude so you may prefer the feel of the XDm.
