27 maj 2013 · Has anyone had any experience with the thumb safety models? I am thinking about a 45 auto and would prefer the thumb safety, but would like an opinion.
1 lis 2010 · I shot the XDm 9mm at the range and I was very impressed. I like handguns with manual thumb safety as this gives more options to carry. I will wait until Springfield comes out with a manual thumb safety on the XDm .45ACP before getting one.
9 maj 2016 · Safety. Like the Glock, the XDm has a trigger safety and an internal firing pin safety. There’s also a backstrap safety which means you have to be gripping the gun in order for it to fire. It also has a loaded chamber indicator on the top of the gun and an indicator on the back that tells you if it’s cocked and ready.
20 lut 2023 · The extended safety grip and the enhanced trigger on my Elites make the Springfield Armory XDM Elite a gun that doesn’t need any aftermarket parts or work. Great guns at a fair and reasonable price.
