19 mar 2016 · The laser certainly doesn't work with my own natural grip on the EMP. It takes a very strong squeeze from my 3rd finger. In the meantime I suppose I will not be able during a foggy night to impress an intruder with the steadiness of my aim.
13 lis 2010 · The EMP grip is 1/8" shorter front to back than the Officer size 45, per SA website. Last I checked Crimson Trace had yet to design one for the EMP. If they do, keep in mind you will have to replace the ambi safety with a single left side.
13 sie 2016 · I know this is an older thread but if you have some extra cash and like a thicker grip.. check the Chrimson Trace laser grip. Aside from the laser options (red or green) the grip just feels better in my hand than the standard plates. Sadly they didn't have a wood grip for the EMP at the time. (maybe they do naw?)

7 sie 2019 · The Springfield EMP in 9mm is a reliable and beautiful 3″ 1911 but may be eclipsed by other CCW options for it’s capacity, weight, and high price. However the weight and caliber make it soft-shooting and fun at the range.
2 sty 2022 · My opinion...Springfield has come to realize the original EMP models are priced TOO HIGH. So they'll "discontinue" those models, and introduce the new, lower-priced models to stimulate sales of the EMP line.
