The journal Parasitology Research covers the latest developments in parasitology across a variety of disciplines, including biology, medicine and veterinary medicine. Among many topics discussed are chemotherapy and control of parasitic disease, and the relationship of host and parasite.
The first record the Limnia unguicornis (Diptera, Sciomyzidae) parasites on a vulnerable pulmonate land snail, Vertigo moulinsiana (Gastropoda: Eupulmonata: Vertiginidae) and a literature review on Limnia species. Jacek Wendzonka.
This collection is dedicated to articles reporting the use of AI in parasitology research. We particularly welcome articles dealing with parasitic disease diagnosis, parasite and vector identification as well as those reporting the prospection of drugs and vaccine candidates.

6 gru 2023 · Interactions between Leishmania parasite and sandfly: a review. A greater understanding of the vector-parasite-microbiome and human host interactions could help to identify the targets and to develop strategies for effectively preventing the transmission of leishmaniasis.
