I am looking at rental cars for two weeks from now. All the companies mentioned in this forum (Tropic, Top Drive and Wheels 2 Go) are sold out for the week we are in Aruba. I guess I have no choice but to rent from one of the bigger companies via Expedia.
Me and my husband are going to Aruba for vacation and I found on the internet this company Speed Car Rental, with a good price for renting a Suzuki Jimmy (160,00 US for a week). I would like to know if somebody has used their services and if they are reliable.
Speed Car Rental Aruba currently has 50 rental cars, type Nissan Versa / Nissan March / Toyota Yaris / Hyunday I-10 and Hyundai H-1 (12 people). All rental cars have an automatic gearbox and air conditioning that is not very pleasant in Aruba.

Re: Best Car Rental in Aruba. 10 years ago. Calm down -- I've rented from Royal and they were fine. They used to offer a free phone (you'd have to buy minutes for it) to use locally, which is usually cheaper than using your own cell phone.
