The EPC Request-to-Pay Multi-Stakeholder Group (RTP MSG), created and coordinated by the EPC in response to an invitation from the Euro Retail Payments Board (ERPB) (Terms of Reference RTP), has delivered its analysis on the Request-to-Pay functionality and proposed a way forward including the creation of an RTP scheme.
Along with payment initiation by the Payer, the execution of the payment by the PSPs and reconciliation of transactions at the merchant (Payee) side, Request-to-Pay would complete the business processes for various use cases.
