  1. 27 cze 2018 · From what I could find on the internet, the LM3886 is a low distortion, fairly high output and low distortion op-amp that required careful implementation. If not engineered properly, LM386-based amplifiers can apparently cause problems including severe distortion, particularly at low frequencies, when driving 4Ω speakers.

  2. 4 kwi 2015 · Find out how to build a great sounding audio amplifier (with bass boost) from the LM386 IC, and learn what makes this amplifier sound better than the rest.

  3. 23 lip 2011 · I'm working on my talking doorbell, and want to use a LM386 to amplify the speech. Circuit works fine, but there's a very slight speaker hum coming from the speaker when no signal is being sent to the amp.

  4. 18 mar 2021 · A genuine LM386 IC powered from 9VDC and driving an 8 ohm speaker through a series 470uF capacitor mounted with the correct polarity produces very low distortion when the output power is almost clipping at 0.45W.

  5. 10 paź 2020 · I purchased two LM 386 and a PAM 8403 amplifier boards locally in 2016 hoping to build my own chip amplifier. With the TEA 2025 connected and driving my desktop open baffles, I thought it good to connect the LM 386 and check it for sound. There are reviews all over the tube but how does in sound?

  6. 19 sty 2007 · Use a low noise op-amp like the NE5534 with about 5 times gain = circa 3 uV output noise. Add a pair of current boost transistors to the output - ie emitter followers, one NPN the other PNP. The op-amp can deliver 15 mA, the followers get you up to 500mA peak..... Phil

  7. 14 paź 2014 · Put a 10uF electrolytic, and .1uf ceramic in parallel on the power pin. I'll bet that helps immensely with your noise issue. Matt Young is correct, put an electrolytic capacitor (10µF to 20µF) AND a ceramic capacitor (0.1µF to 1µF) in parallel to the power supply pins of the OpAMP.
