27 cze 2018 · From what I could find on the internet, the LM3886 is a low distortion, fairly high output and low distortion op-amp that required careful implementation. If not engineered properly, LM386-based amplifiers can apparently cause problems including severe distortion, particularly at low frequencies, when driving 4Ω speakers.

14 paź 2014 · Put a 10uF electrolytic, and .1uf ceramic in parallel on the power pin. I'll bet that helps immensely with your noise issue. Matt Young is correct, put an electrolytic capacitor (10µF to 20µF) AND a ceramic capacitor (0.1µF to 1µF) in parallel to the power supply pins of the OpAMP.
The LM386 was primarily designed for a 4Ω speaker load, but is rated for 8Ω and 32Ω loads as well. Distortion: Under ideal conditions, 0.2% total harmonic distortion (THD) when driven with 6V of power into an 8Ω speaker at low power ratings, and up to ~10% THD closer to maximum power.
