21 kwi 2019 · The landscape in western Wisconsin is incredible with rolling hills and dairy land at every turn. The Sparta golf course, now named River Run, is tucked back in the town of 9,500 residents requiring a drive through its historic downtown.
The Sparta River Run Golf Course was expanded to 18 holes in 1982 and has matured beautifully and is truly is a pleasure to play. The front nine runs along Perch Lake and the back nine holes meanders through cuts in mature stands of pine. You will enjoy the large bentgrass greens throughout.
