  2. 10 sty 2021 · If your goal is Spanish fluency, aim for a C1 level in which you can fluently speak and express yourself. A C1 level does not mean you understand every word in the language but that you can handle most conversations and some tricky topics. The C2 level is complete mastery. Often, even native speakers do not reach this level.

  6. 25 lip 2014 · The problem with (2) is that it sounds like it is talking about a native speaker of some language whose ethnicity is Spanish, and not necessarily a speaker of the Spanish language. In context it's ok to call someone a native speaker.

  7. Native speaker: My definition, simply put, of a native speaker of Spanish is a student who has grown up in a Spanish-speaking country, speaks Spanish at home, and usually has had at least some schooling in Spanish.
