From its source on Lake Victoria in Jinja, River Nile flows for 6,600KMs (4,100Miles) through Uganda, Sudan and Egypt with its tributaries meandering through Ethiopia and few other countries. This journey up to Alexandria in Egypt takes it 3 months.
The source of the Nile is located about 80km away from Uganda’s capital Kampala. It is visited by many local and international tourists because the river Nile is the longest in the world. The Nile river travels a distance of 6,696 km through South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt where it finally pours it’s waters into the Mediterranean sea.
