PULSE 3D wireless headset Charging: If you charge the headset with the adapter connected, the status indicator on the headset lights up white. Charged: The indicator blinks once in orange, and then goes back to white. Platinum wireless headset Charging: The status indicator lights up red and solid. Charged: The status indicator light turns off.
Basically, you need to reset the USB device when plugged into your PlayStation/PC/Mac using a pin into the hole on the side. Once the USB dongle starts flashing white, hole the "Chat" and "Volume +" button on the headset and then (whilst still holding these buttons down) turn the headset on.

The dongle for the wireless headset must just be engineered poorly. My setup WITH issue: multiple USB 3.0 (4 ports) - cutting in and out(no matter the charge even plugged in. Fix: plugged the dongle directly into the USB port in the back. No more cut outs.
