"The Sony X85K is great to use as a PC monitor. It displays proper chroma 4:4:4, which helps result in clear text, and it has low input lag for a responsive desktop feel. It also gets bright enough to fight glare and has good reflection handling if you have a few lights around.
The Sony X85J supports most common resolutions, except 1440p, which requires a forced resolution. Chroma 4:4:4 signals are displayed properly in most supported resolutions, which is important for clear text from a PC. 4k @ 120Hz signals aren't displayed properly, though, and text isn't clear.
I recently bought an X90J to go with my PC (AMD 5700XT - No HDMI 2.1 [Expanding on that later]). I currently have a Denon AVR-X1400H which doesn't support 4K @ 120hz (Even without HDR). I was thinking about ways to essentially achieve 4K @ 120hz without losing my sound system.
