The Red dot usually Signals the Player that the Console is overheaten, but my 360 was an Entire week unplugged from power, and my room wasn't warm or something. I pressed the Power button twice (Off, then back on) and the 360 Booted up as if the RDOD never happened.

When it's like that, hold the pair button and press the eject to get a secondary code. You need to do this, see how many segments light up on the ring and take note. Do it 4 times to get 4 numbers for the whole code.
Four red lights indicate the machine doesn’t detect the video cable. Unplug the AV and replug it in to make sure it is correctly seated. Try another AV cable before tossing the 360.
13 paź 2013 · While a red light may indicate the need for a repair, it could just be the console and/or power supply do not have adequate ventilation. I would suggest checking out our Console Red Light support article, and walk though those troubleshooting steps.
27 paź 2012 · When it is red hold down the sync button and press the DVD drive eject 4 times. Each time you will get a number (with 4 lights being 0 and the rest being what they normally are). Post that number here.
