Miami University- SONA Systems Research Participation & Sign-Up Department of Psychology
Students can easily log on to the system and view available studies and the times they may participate in those studies. Through our system, students can sign up for their desired study with the click of a button, and cancel appointments up until a specified cancellation deadline.
Before logging into your Sona account, you should already have an account created and login information (i.e., your User ID and Password). Often, you can create an account, or request an account, simply by visiting your institution’s Sona site and clicking on the appropriate button:
Logging In . Once you have your login information, go to the front page of the site and enter your user ID and password to log in. After you complete these tasks, you will see the Main Menu. Retrieving a Lost Password . If you ever forget your password, you have your password emailed to you. You will see an option on the front login page.

Signing Up For Studies. To sign up to participate in a study find the study you would like to participate in (see Viewing Studies in this documentation) and click on the study name for more information.
