The Piece of Star is an item added in the Era 7 Update. It is used to craft the Strange Controller. It can be found at any Item spawnpoint across the map, at the start of the Starfall biome.
There are currently 79 different opening animations as of Era 7, 63 of which include stars. This count excludes developer-exclusive and limited auras (e.g. ConstraintTest , i'm peach ) with the exception being Sol .

Galaxy can normally only be obtained during the Starfall weather. If you get it outside of that weather it becomes a breakthrough which is 15x rarer, other weather specific auras have different breakthrough multiplier for example auras from Null are 1000x, auras from Starfall are 15x, and all other breakthroughs are 10x.
