The socket 478 supports desktop and mobile Pentium 4 and Celeron processors from 1.4 GHz to 3.46 GHz with effective front-side bus frequencies 400 MHz - 1066 MHz (100 MHz - 266 MHz QDR). This socket was phased out in favour of socket 775 (LGA775) .
29 lis 2010 · Intel stopped manufacturing processors based on socket 478 over 5 years ago, so it will be very difficult to find a processor for that socket type nowadays. I would suggest thinking on buying or building a new system based on newer technology.
7 paź 2013 · Najniższy jest 775. Niestety nie sprawdze. Druga rzecz to wczoraj przeglądałem wszystko o tym sockecie 478 i jak wyżej pisałem ma możliwość by działać intel pentium 4 EE. Wiem że wszystkie pentium maja 1 rdzeń tylko maja technologię która pokazuje że jakby miał dwa.
Socket 478, also known as mPGA478 or mPGA478B, is a 478-contact CPU socket used for Intel's Pentium 4 and Celeron series CPUs. Socket 478 was launched in August 2001 in advance of the Northwood core to compete with AMD 's 462-pin Socket A and their Athlon XP processors.
15 maj 2018 · Gigabyte GA-8ITXE Intel 850 supports rambus (pc800) but cpu with fsb of 400 mhz (with a specific cpu I was able to run it at 133 mhz but it was like a pentium 4 2400). Asus P4T533-C Intel 850E fix the "limits" above, rambus pc1066 fsb 133 mhz and ht.
