1 lut 2023 · In 2020, after seeing family friends successfully have their baby girl through Snowflakes, they turned to embryo adoption. Rodney and Mary Leah were matched with their first set of embryos in 2021. And they did achieve pregnancy… however, they suffered a miscarriage at eight weeks.
Embryo adoption is a relatively new process in which couples who have frozen embryos in storage, that they do not plan on using to build their family, agree to release the embryos for transfer to an adoptive couple. The adopting family may be either known or unknown by the donating family.
