The 42-mile scenic and secluded river route from Serpent Mound to the Ohio River has nine put-in points allowing for short or multi-day trips, some suitable for floating. The stream is clean and full of fish, with practically no visual intrusions upon its idyllic landscapes for the entire distance.
This event delves into the history, mysteries, and anomalies surrounding the seven mounds and the extensive snake population that once hibernated within the Snake Den Mounds complex. The mounds themselves contain skeletal remains, cremations, and stone box burials.
