30 kwi 2011 · You should get a pop up with the first option of "Play Smart DJ Mix". The second is to navigate to whichever artist, album or song you want to base the mix off of and again "touch and hold" the item and you will get the same pop up with the option to create the DJ mix.
In order to even test if Smart DJ works, I have to allow the program to replace metadata, and I don't really want to do that unless I have to. Just wondering if it's still working before I even attempt it.

When you're playing a song hit menu, then play smart dj mix. It'll randomly pick songs related from both your own library and the Zune catalog. I'll also add that is in my opinion the best feature of Zune Pass (or Xbox Music Pass now).
I checked Smart DJ on mine, and I was given something about the need to change settings in metadata so that it could potentially fill in missing information. (You have the option of allowing ONLY missing metadata to be filled in, or having it completely replaced if it's "wrong".)
The software also adds "quickplay," "pinning," and Smart DJ. Smart DJ is the most notable, with the feature creating playlists from your favorite artists, using your own library, any music on your Zune HD and the Zune Marketplace.
