This slope calculator solves for parameters involving slope and the equation of a line. It takes inputs of two known points, or one known point and the slope.
Based on the two points plotted on a graph, calculate the rise and run to find the slope of the line in the first level of worksheets. Find the rise and run between any two x- and y- coordinates on the line provided in the second level of worksheets. This practice resource is ideal for 7th grade and 8th grade students.
Slope with Graphs (self checking) • Activity Builder by Desmos Classroom. Self Checking Linear Functions Review (Focus on Graphing and Tables) I adapted Kevin Hall's "Point Versus Slope" Activity into Slides 4-13 for this activity.
A quick review of finding slope from a graph, then guided practice and #SilentSolutions videos, created using Apple's Keynote #KeynoteForMath. Students will find the slope given a table of values or two points.
Finding Slope. On these printable worksheets, students are given ordered pairs or a graph and are instructed to find the slope. These worksheets align with Common Core CCSS.8.EE.5.
3-2 Worksheet - Finding Slope from a Table or From 2 Points Use the informal method to determine the rate of change for the data in each table. The rate of change is constant for the data in each table. Write the rate as a unit rate. 1. Number of Balloons Total Cost of Balloons (in Dollars) 2 6 4 12 6 18 8 24 2. Number of Lawns Total Earned
