2 maj 2014 · Here's how to do it for anyone who's having trouble. 1) Download SkyUI manually from Nexus. 2) Extract ONLY the SkyUI.esp and the SkyUI.bsa to your desktop or folder. ***Once again, you should only have the two above files extracted, ignore the fomods and readme***.

So The first thing you need to do is install SkyUI in NMM. Next you want to find and open SkyUI.bsa with BSAOpt. (This will be in the Data folder of Skyrim Special Edition) The next few steps are tricky. Unpack SkyUI.bsa somewhere easy to navigate too, once you have done this remove the SkyUI.bsa from the Data folder (delete or just move it).
It has a lot of very helpful improvements to the UI. If you play with a mouse and keyboard I highly recommend it, and it helps even if you use a controller. Aside from the direct benefits of the mod, it also includes the MCM, which is used to configure MANY other mods to your liking.
How to make the SkyUI Addon for Frostfall work: I realized that I didn't include this part. It's fairly easy, all you need to do is grab the addon from Frostfall LE and drop it into your mod folder for Frostfall. However, you will need to get the translation files from SkyUI 5.1 in classic as well.
