tl;dr for a 3080ti I recommend the HP Reverb G2. Fantastic clarity, relatively cheap. Crap controllers and wired. I got a Quest 2 first ($299), and grabbed the HP Reverb G2 later ($450 sale). The G2 has got incredible resolution and clarity, the Quest 2 does wireless and has good controllers.
13 kwi 2018 · To get the FPS to show in the headset, also in debug tool, expand HUDS and in the Visible HUD dropdown, select Performance. That will show you FPS and frame drops in your headset. You can see the actual current resolution scaling by changing that to Layer.

Worth also noting, when in stealth, holding down the left grip for a second (if right hand dominant) makes you sneak faster.

This guide helped immensely with figuring out controls that make the game playable on any controller. This also allowed me to map a cheap DDR pad to a controller, coupled with Xoutput; the original controlmapvr.txt didn't have normal controllers properly mapped out to make it work.
The Quest 2 was light and wireless, but I hate how many issues the software has. The Vive Pro (1st gen) has great colours, but the drivers I found lacking. A WMR headset (i had a Lenovo Explorer) is great IMO, cause they're very light, very cheap and very moddable.
