The Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) is a tool used by many Skyrim mods that expands scripting capabilities and adds additional functionality to the game. Once installed, no additional steps are needed to launch Skyrim with SKSE's added functionality.
SKSE will support the latest version of Skyrim available on Steam, and only this version (currently 1.9.32 with any other numbers following). It is extremely unlikely that any future non-SE Skyrim updates will be released. SKSE does not support the Windows Store/Game Pass release of Skyrim.

9 wrz 2018 · Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder.
