14 wrz 2024 · my script extender won't update to V20, cause it says V20 doesn't support game versions before 4.57. the script extender version text also does not appear in my game menu, indicative that it doesn't exist even when downloaded.
2 sie 2024 · This isn't a bug, just wanted to document what I've been seeing as a common issue - either crashes of BG3 (regardless of other mods being installed) or the weird error of BG3 Mod Manager not detecting an installed SE (e.g. the MISSING error).

20 lut 2024 · Deactivate updates for BG3 in steam and start the exe from the game folder. Not from steam, so steam makes no update to BG3 until you want it. It is a golden rule to prevent updates if you use mods, until the mods support the update!

There is a fix in the comments of native camera tweaks on nexus if you use script extender! You don't need native camera tweaks for it to work, it is purely to get script extender working with hotfix 18.
21 lut 2024 · Works perfectly! Just be sure run the .exe file directly (bg3_dx11.exe) instead of running the game from steam
