14 wrz 2024 · my script extender won't update to V20, cause it says V20 doesn't support game versions before 4.57. the script extender version text also does not appear in my game menu, indicative that it doesn't exist even when downloaded.
2 sie 2024 · This isn't a bug, just wanted to document what I've been seeing as a common issue - either crashes of BG3 (regardless of other mods being installed) or the weird error of BG3 Mod Manager not detecting an installed SE (e.g. the MISSING error).
8 cze 2024 · Steps to Reproduce. Launch Game through bg3 mod manager. 2. bg3se console launches. 3. warning pops up as its loading. Expected Behavior. Game should be able to load with bg3se running and bg3se should be able to update. Actual Behavior. game is able to run but without bg3se running. error pops up instead of updating.
Failed to write manifest file. C:\ [path]\BG3ScriptExtender\Manifest-Release.json. I saw Script Extender got updated this morning so I figured it would fix it. Tried updating but I'm still getting the same error. I'm wondering if anyone else is getting this error or if it's just me.
I downloaded the latest version of the script extender from GitHub and I put the DWrite.dll in the bin folder for bg3 but I keep getting an error that says: Failed to apply Script Extender update: Script Extender update failed: Failed to write manifest file C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\BG3ScriptExtender\Manifest-Releasd.json

10 lut 2015 · So I used the installer which didn't work, then manually installed it it in the Skyrim directory, not the data folders. I made a shortcut to skse loader on the desktop and launch it from that. It gives me the following message when I load or start a game:
