On the way, you may encounter a few Ice Wraiths - if they give trouble, you can either bring a companion, or bring along a few potions of healing.
Progress deeper into the crypt (Watch out for a few pressure plate traps), and soon you’ll find the first puzzle in Saarthal. There are six animal pillars here, and you have to place them in the correct positions to continue.
