25 sie 2024 · Recently there was a launch of psvr2 pc adapter and I wanted to finally play Skyrim, but using this headset there's a major flaw - game is not using the whole headset screen - there are quite big black bars near nose, not rendered, that become visible especially when moving head.

Having owned and played both PSVR and PCVR, Skyrim really benefits from the mods on PCVR. I get that might sound obvious, but all the specific VR mods completely change the game, and make it more in line with other VR games. It’s a hard decision, but I wouldn’t buy a PC just to play Skyrim VR.
11 mar 2024 · Unlike Skyrim SSE/AE, there is only one version of Skyrim VR used by the larger playerbase (1.4.15), and it is extremely unlikely it will ever be updated. The good news is that there is no need to perform a "downgrade" with Skyrim VR. This makes initial setup considerably easier.
The thing that makes Skyrim stand out are the many mods available. I doubt whether Sony would allow mods on the PSVR2, because in principle a hacker might use that to get access to the PSVR2, for instance to play copied games.
