There is not reason that argonians should be weak to frost. If they are cold blooded like other amphibians then they can adjust to cold temperatures just fine.

Argonians have weakness to cold, though. I agree about Orcs and Khajits, but Nords's cold resistance and Battle Cry are extremally usefull for Survival. Resistance to cold is as imprtant, If not more, than warmth, because any frost spell can make you cold, and most of Skyrim's enemies uses frost spells.
Superaltered Argonians could perhaps survive the cold climates due to magical mutation running their bodies and not entirely cold blood, but a normal Argonian should never and can't ever permanently live in cold climate.
Argonians are... weird. They're an artificially created species made by the Hist, who can tweak their biology at will and mind control them. So, it's entirely possible that some Argonians could be modified by the Hist to be more suited for cold environments. The swamps in Black Marsh are not cold, by the way.
8 sty 2022 · Warmth & Cold mechanic is not related to frost resistance (spells/magicka) in any way. While not related to frost resistance per se, Frost damage from spells and dragon breath attacks does lower your temperature.
