Overall, Skyfall is best enjoyed, I feel, as a sort of standalone, old-style Bond film. Something that doesn’t have a strict continuity, something that isn’t bogged down by a poorly-thought-out and poorly-paced effort to tie all preceding plot points into a tangled knot.
7 lis 2012 · In this 50th year of the James Bond series, with the dismal “ Quantum of Solace ” (2008) still in our minds, “Skyfall” triumphantly reinvents 007 in one of the best Bonds ever.
One issue is that there are a few moments with some comically bad CGI that honestly make it look like a video game but they are really quick shots. It’s just a shame though when the rest of the movie looks so beautiful.
The bottom line is that Skyfall Bond is NOT light-hearted and happy like he was in CR/QoS -- and perhaps people didn't enjoy that. But it makes sense, especially with CR and QoS being pretty much companion films occurring at the same time, with Skyfall occurring at least 6 years later.
