In order to lose your items you need to lose your account name & password. This probably happened on a phishing site. There are some that copy legitimate sites. That's the only way you can actually get scammed. Sharing your API key with us does not allow us to create or cancel offers. Simply put, it's not our fault.

Last and only time I was scammed was back in 2015. Since then, I've made over 3000 trades and have never even came close to getting scammed again. It's easily avoidable when using sites like Skinbid,Buff,CSFloat,etc.

The scammer will cancel the authentic trade and have a bot, that from the trade requests seems like a legit trade request from the official website you're using, or user you are trading to if you're using websites like csgofloat and once you accept that trade its irreversible.
