Parks, recreation, and open space provide personal, social, environmental and economic benefits and are important to our quality of life. As the City grows, new places are needed where residents can play, relax, meet their neighbors, and enjoy the natural environment.
All homestead applications must be accompanied by a copy of applicant’s driver’s license or other information as required by the Texas Property Tax Code. Applicant may also be required to complete an affidavit to qualify for an exemption under certain situations.
The Parks and Advisory Board is appointed by the City Council and consists of five (5) members who are qualified voters of the State of Texas, and have an interest in service to the public through the parks of the City of Sinton.
