1 mar 2017 · Aluminum bikes like the Allez and Allez Sprint are equipped with a bottom bracket shell of 68 x 42 mm, also known as BB30. (The Specialized website consistently refers to this as OSBB.) The SL6 edition of the Tarmac, introduced as a 2015 model, has a carbon frame, but with an aluminum insert, effectively making it BB30.
22 kwi 2019 · #1. I think My Specialized Allez is either 2015 or 2016 (I bought it 2nd hand late last year) and is fitted with the Shimano Claris Octalink Groupset. I have recently started getting an annoying clicking noise once per pedal revolution which I think is coming from the BB.
There is no 1 standard square tapered bottom bracket axle length for track frames. The crankset dictates the bb axle length, it's not as varied as with crankset with gears, but there is more than one.

15 maj 2022 · According to Specialized the head tube has been cut from a single piece of alloy and then mechanically formed to create a more aero head tube shape with consistent tube wall thickness. Then there's the one-piece bottom bracket and down tube, which has been hydroformed from a single piece of alloy.
