This indicator provides a breakdown of changes in total wages into basic wages and bonuses and for three categories of employees, namely the rank-and-file, junior management and senior management.

Income from employment is a key indicator of economic well-being. Gross monthly income from employment is the w idest measure of income from employment, covering both employees and the self-employed. For income of a typical worker, look at the median gross monthly income.
Statistics on average monthly recruitment/resignation rate and average weekly paid hours worked are compiled from the Labour Market Survey. Prior to 2006, the survey covered private establishments with at least 25 employees.

Statistics on labour productivity are compiled by MOM and the Singapore Department of Statistics. Statistics on Central Provident Fund (CPF) members are compiled by the CPF Board.
