18 years ago. Hi Bigpud. I had used Asiarooms.com for all my Thailand Hotel booking and NEVER had any problem even when it is last min. Their turnaround for confirmation is max. 24hr, normally I got my Voucher the next day. Your credit card would NOT be deduct when they dun have any room for you.
Yes - it's totally nett in SGD. It should all be stated in your final confirmation before you get to the payment box. If you use www.asiatravel.com, you pay them at the hotel. Just another option if you are not comfortable wit asiarooms.
I have heard a lot of bad things about asiarooms.com (see thorntree). They have a 45 day cancellation policy which is frankly a scam. When I find a rate I like I always call or email the hotel directly; they almost always match or beat it. They won't charge your card unless they have room and they usually have reasonable cancellation policies.
